  Well, actually, it's not all this wonderful fabric that's embarrassing; it's more how I came to have it all. You'll recall that I talked about how I was struggling to resist the temptation to buy this beautiful Moda collection, Charisma, to make a quilt to hang in our living room. Well, I bowed to temptation twice, once without even knowing it apparently. Well, I knew it, I just forgot. One day last week, I ordered the collection, along with Sandy Gervais's pattern from Hancock's of Paducah.

  As many of you know, I have joined the Board of Jackson Recovery Centers. Today is one of the best parts of being on this Board. It's the Festival of Trees fundraiser auction hosted by the Sioux City Jaycees. Jackson Recovery Center is the organization my parents started in the 1970s when there was a need in Iowa to help teens recover from drug and alcohol abuse.
